SUN JAVA STUDIO & GWT & AJAX

guys,

am basically Microsoft .Net Developer with 5 years of experience. I was impressed with the new release of Sun Java Studio by Sun and Google Web Toolkit by Google.

I want to develop a commercial Global Web Application. Before i make my decision to buy Dev Support Package for Sun Studio which can be quiet handy, I would like to know few things listed below :

1. Can i use GWT (google web toolkit) in Sun Studio. any link, help support, samples...? I want to Integrate GWT to the best of possible, as it largely supports AJAX, which i am keenly interested. In general site shall replicate GMail style.

http://code.google.com/webtoolkit/

2. I would be happy to use Java Database. But, what is the capacity of JDB. pros and cons? Is it as good as SQL Server. I read that it supports Stored Procedures, SQL Functions etc. can you provide me link, where some one from non javaDB background can study from basics

3. I know GWT comes with SDK Eclipse. But, i dont know if i use Eclipse, i can buy support package...

4. Does Sun Studio supports AJAX Style Implementation similar to Atlas by Microsoft

http://ajax.asp.net/

Please answer to the best you can. This will assist me in taking a strong step towards Java Technology.
