Integrating Sun ONE 5.2 with antivirus

My version is:
iPlanet Messaging Server 5.2 HotFix 2.10 (built Dec 26 2005)
libimta.so 5.2 HotFix 2.10 (built 12:00:16, Dec 26 2005)
SunOS sauco.uninorte.edu.co 5.9 Generic_118558-11 sun4u sparc SUNW,UltraAX-i2
I am trying to integrate Sun ONE 5.2 with Trendmicro antivirus, I followed the guide in
http://ims.balius.com/resources/downloads/files/AlternateConversion.pdf using conversions channels and everything worked OK
but when I send a message from the Webmail client, the message is not scanned by the antivirus
because the IP is 127.0.0.1.
Searching in the forum I found about the aliasdetourhost parameter, my question is, should I use
this parameter with the channel conversion to obtain the complete solution, or is there another way
to achieve this?
