who know what the jar package in html directory is for?
I used ims 5.2 hotfix 1.25 before丅
Now i update the hotfix from 1.25 to 2.14.
I see there are five jar packages as so:
html/SMIMEApplet.jar
html/activation.jar
html/bcprov-jdk14-122.jar
html/card-win32.jar
html/ldapjdk.jar
html/mail.jar
I want to know what the jar package in html directory is for because i have been used customized web interface!
Now I need to use the original customized html directory to cover the html dir. But i donot konw whether it have any risks!
Thanks!

What you're trying to do is a "Very Bad Idea".
Many of the fixes to webmail involve changes in the JS and HTML files. If you elect to use the old files, you will not get those fixes. Far better to re-customize your interface. It's unlikely that there will be further hotfixes for 5.2, as the last patch date is only a couple months off. This product is going End Of Life.
None of the customizations you are likely to have done involve any of the jar files, in any case.

Hi,jay,
Thank you for your replay!
Now we have a problem the process httpd may be hang by chance.
The users can not logon webmail, it show invalid user or password!
In the http proxy logs, there are many error " proxy login failed".
So we hope solve this problem by patch the new hotfix 2.14.
In fact,we donot need the fix on web face, but we need a stable server backgroud!
So, i don't know what the jar package in html directory is for?
And any risk to server httpd process?

Proxy login failedmeans that the store.admin user/password is no longer what it was. This is a "special user" that Messaging has, to allow an admin user to log in as other users. If the password changes, or if the user gets deleted, then you get this error.
