Mails not flushout from the server

HiWe are using JES 2005Q1 messaging server. Although users download their mails using a pop client they are not flush out from the server for one or two days.Any configuration change ti be done in the server side.Lili

Every night, the server goes through a normal expiration/purge step,where all such message files are removed. Messages that have been popped for an hour or more are removed.

Is that a problem for you? It was done for performance reasons, and is scheduled by default at a time that's typically not too busy for the server.
