Could be easy?
I'm using a Win2k Server box with a unified recording messaging system. IIS 5.0. This server pushes out Java 1.4.2_06 to clients that do not have this version. Are there settings, configurations some where that control this? I want it first to stop pushing this version out. Then I want to change the version to 1.4.2_11 (which our other apps use), but don't want to make any changes until of course I've researched more. I understand the server needs a different version then what one you want to push out to clients? Well, I'll keep on reading, but I just more confused in some areas.
Basically the client users will goto the server via URL. The page will forward of course to an ASP page that bring them into a login screen. One of these selections off this login screen is JAVA based and related. The others are not. IIS 5.0 is running with Tomcat. Support from the vendor? Yea, right. Lost and confused for now.
