java printing error

hello,

i use ubuntu edgy with cups 1.2.4 and java 1.6.0,

my problem is i can't print from all my java programs (netbeans, ireport, jmdiframework),

when i pressed print, the printer status shows "stopped: job stopped", and the

properties button in print dialog is always disabled.

i've tried to ln -s libcups.so.2 libcups.so, and comment the line listen /var/run/cups/cups.sock,

then /etc/init.d/cupsys restart, but it doesn't change anything, i still can't print from

java programs
