crearing button on form....

hi friends,

i m new to j2me..

i want to create a button that handle event in j2me....

i read some books that says... you can create button of string and image by changing appearance mode.

but i can't do this thing.......... i also read customItem of j2me.. but not succsess...........

can any body help me to create and put button on form...?
