MEMORY OUT OF RANGE

Dear FRIENDS

This is kailash.. we have desktop application developed using Java Swings..Intially its started working well.. but when record sets keeps on adding my system (ie) application becomes very low some times my application hanging.

Right now am having more than one lakh records.. so if i work with my application for more than 10 -15 min am getting memory out of range... we are using MYSQL as our back end... and am not using any prepared or callable statement will it has major effects.

What might be the reason for this kind of exceptions and how to slove with it..can any one give me the solutions...
