regarding Ldap filter

I was trying to build a Dynamic group based on the following filter:

ldap:///o=xxxxxx.xom,c=US?sub?(locationNumber= yyyy)

When i tried to test this filter iam getting the following error....

Search failed with:

netscape.ldap.LDAPException:error result (50); VLV Control;Insufficient access

Iam creating the dynamic Groups through the console and i have logged in as an administrator..
