Creation of Dynamic Groups

Would it be possible to create a Dynamic Group with a filter based on "user defined Attribute". IF so what is the procedure for that.

Because when i try to create an LDAP URL filter through the Generic Editor(adding a ldapURL value in memberURL attribute) after adding the required objectclass to the Dynamic group, the option to open custom Editor is lost and am able to open only the generic editor..

Does anybody come across this kind of a problem?Because we have the option of testing the ldapurl in the custom Editor only.
