regarding filter for Dynamic Groups..

Iam trying to build a Dynamic group for my setup. For this i have to build a filter based on a userdefined Attribute called "jobdesignation code"

So when i try to design this filter through the GUI,am not able to see the above mentioned attribute "jobsdesignation code" in the "where" tab (which lists out the attributes).I have even indexed the above said attribute...

So how to create Dynamic groups based on user defined Attribute?Any help on this would be apperciated

Regards

"jobdesignation code" with a space is not a valid attribute name per LDAP specification.

With the GUI (which I do not run right now so I cannot verify), there is a mode where you can type in any custom filter.

Select that mode and type the filter (jobdesignationCode=FOO)

Also, remember that the GUI has an Online and Contextual Help.

Do i need to even add that particular objectclass to the Dynamic Group?

Becoz when i dont do that iam getting an objectclass voilation....Also When i add both the objectclass to the Dynmaic group and then add the filter by adding an extra value to the "memebURL" attribute, then am to open the custom Editor of the Dynamic Group through which i can test the filter..

what should i do to create an Dynamic group on userdefine attribute?Any help would on this would be appreciated..

Regards
