How to change STB's channel number at service selection (MHP)?

Hi!

I'm using ServiceContext.select() to select a service on a MHP STB (ADB). Servie selection works fine, but the channel number on the STB doesnt change to the selected channel. This means that the user is watching another channel than the box indicates.

My application changes the channel and then it's set invisible and run's in the background.

Is there any way I can interact the STB to change its channelnumber indicator to be in sync with its selected service? Or might this be a STB bug?

I solved the problem. The application was servicebound and not setup on more than on channel. When I switched service the application was killed and the STB didnt change its number indicator.

When I set the application to NOT servicebound and shared to the other channels it should be able to switch to, it worked perfectly. The STB changed channel and the channel indicator changed as well.
