Sun Server 9 on Solaris 10 failed: "...not supported for media spanning."

Why does a Sun product installing on a SunSystem lead to this error? Can't see any reason for media spanning in the the distributed bin-file for AppServer 9.

Are there any other options to install? Either way, with and without bundled java failed with the same error.

Machine: SunFire X2100

OS: SOlaris 10 standard installation

Thanks a lot for any suggestion

Is it possible, that there is no distribuition for an x64-System like the SUNFire X2100 of the Sun Application Server 9.0? May this be the problem's reason?Jan Kurella

Ok, after trying all possible packages, the last one did the turn.

Installing the biggest all-in-one-package, worked.

It says: Java EE 5 Tools Bundle, Englishjava-tools-bundle-solaris-x86.sh 156.09 MB.

Whyever this is the only .sh file awailable and it worked. Now I've got a lot of rubbish around the server but the Server 9 is installed >:(
