Driver update disabled higher video resolutions

A friend recommended that I update the bios and drivers on my ultra 20 m2 (A88-GGZ1-AA-2GBGA), that runs Solaris 10 11/06, to get rid of some excessive fan noise.

I downloaded the tools_and_drivers 1.5 disk and updated the bios. This solved my noise problem, but I think the driver update screwed up my X server's configuration files.

Before the machine rebooted, my screen was running at 1600x1200 and had been for some time. I had a number of other resolution choices, too. After the machine rebooted, the screen opens at 640x480 and it is the only resolution available...

I really like doing development at 1600x1200 and need to find out how to restore my server's resolution.

Thanks,

vbk
