Ultra 60 crashing.

Hi

I have a Ultra60 machine which crashes every night. I saw following message on the console today.

[AFT1] Uncorrectable Memory Error on CPU2 Data Access TL=0, errID

0x000002c2,c38b81c1

AFSR 0x00000000.80200000 <PRIV,UE> 0x00000000.bf46a

AlsoI did not find anything related to this errors in /var/adm/messages.

Please help.

Thank you

Jignesh

There are times when a system event is so abrupt,

that nothing will be logged to MESSAGES.

All you get to see in there is the beginning of the next bootup.

The only chance you would have to capture anything is to keep

an active, logging, console connection. System logs do not save

everything that goes to console, but console may show

everything that happens with the system.

... the only frustrating aspect of that is that you "hope it breaks again",

so that you can have something to capture.

The snippet that you initially provided could be meaningful,

or it could simply be that cpu#2 noticed something and tried to tell you

that an even happened with some other component, somewhere.

Sorry I could not contribute more than that.

Establish your console connection, configure it to save all output

to a text file, and keep your fingers crossed.
