iPlanet-WebServer-Enterprise 6.0SP7 and JDK 1.3.1_19 compatability

Is the iPlanet-WebServer-Enterprise/6.0SP7 compatible with JDK 1.3.1_19 . We recently upgraded to this jdk version to be 2007 DST compliant and since then we are seeing an issue .

Our application is generating Queries (SQL) dynamically based on some metadata in the database. The issue that we are seeing with the application is that the generated SQL now has additional special characters inserted into this queries.

When we reverted back to the Java version on iPlanet to 1.2.2 , the application started to generate the SQL properly

So is the JDK version 1.3.1_19 compatible iwth thie iplanet release ?
