DST and Outlook Connector errors

After the MS DST patch auto-installed for some of our Outlook Connector users certain calendar events give an error when attempting to modify or delete them. It appears to only happen for reccurences and it also happens when running the MS tmzone.exe utility.

The error that we're seeing is:

Time zone mapping failed. This time zone is not mapped or not supported by Calendar Server. Please contact your administrator.) (0x80001017, 0x802c2022, 0x100a)

Any thoughts?

Hi,

Have you applied the calendar and operating system patches to deal with the DST timezone changes?

They are all documented here:

If not this is most likely your issue.

Regards,

Shane.

Seems like it was some sort of caching issue. I renamed the Connector pst file so that it would recreate it from the server and it seemed to work after that.
