ALOM on V240 setup or problem?

I have set-up ALOM on several of our V210 with no problem. However on one V240 I am having problems. ALOM seems to work OK except that I cannot get the Solaris login prompt. If I try either console or console -f command I juetst get the message to use #. to return SC but no login prompt for Solaris. Apart from this the V240 operates correctly. This is the only machnine that I have this problem with, it is also the only machine that has a graphics card and keyboard installed, could this be a conflict? Any help would be appreciated.

Robert,You hit the nail on the head! The problem is that I have a graphic card and keyboard attached. It seems that you can eith connect to the console via ALOM or via the garphics card/keyboard but not both! So I guess I am stuck for now, at least nothing is boken.Thanks.

You can run the console on ALOM, and let the keyboard/screen work as a normal user terminal. You just can't have the OBP console on both simultaneously.-- Darren
