When I try and run hardware diagnostici suite on an agent I get the error mesage:
"Please make sure the Hardware Diagnostic Suite server is running on the Sun Management Center server machine."
I don't know how to do this despite a trawl through all available documentation.
Any help gratefully appreciated. Thanks.
1. Make sure you have the ASM addon installed and up and running (using ps -eaf | grep HWDS) on the server host
2. Make sure you have the correct config reader installed on the agent host.
3. Make sure you have the ASM addon installed on the console node where you are trying to access the server from
4. Make sure the edagent is up and running on the agent host on which you are trying to invoke hardware diagnostics (ps -eaf | grep ed).
Once all the above are OK., I think you will start seeing better results.
Additionally, there are log files present under /var/opt/SUNWhwdiag on the server/agent node for better debugging
