Cobalt CacheRaq 4

I have come into control of a Cobalt CacheRaq 4, but I am unable to reset the password by holding down the reset button with a paper clip. If I hold down the button for any length of time, it still does not signal that the password has been reset. Does anyone know why this might be? Or how to fix this problem.
