HW Replication & Solaris

Dear all,

did someone among you ever came across the following issue(s):

Assumed someone would use TrueCopy to provide a HW replication generated copy of an OPEN-3 volume (source) to an OPEN-9 volume (target) (or similar with SRDF from a source that is smaller in size than the target). I would expect then the target volume saying to be an OPEN-3 as the source label is copied, too. Beyond that - for the same reason - the target would also believe to have the size of the source

What do I need to do in order to "fix" the target label without affecting the data, in other words, is there any possibility to make the target volume "learn" that it is an OPEN-9 with according size, without destroying any data on the LUN?

I believe it could be something within the format dialogue.... Can anybody help? Thanks.

Update: I posted the same question in Solaris 9 discussion forum as I wasn't able to decide, which is the right forum
