CPU information commands

Hello,

I have a couple of questions regarding CPU information commands. I am looking for a command to run in order to get information that answers the following questions :

-number of cores

-number of processors

-hyperthreading in use?

-any cores disabled?

-are they always disabled?

Any help is appreciated.

Depending on the release you're running, 'psrinfo' (with various flags) can show those relationships. 'kstat' will also have some CPU information.

I'm not sure how to answer 'are they always disabled'. You can administratively disable one, but that isn't saved across a reboot. I guess I can't think of a sitation wher one is always disabled.
