Solaris 10x86 06/06 HP DL585 G1 with Grub issues.

Hello,

I'm trying to understand why Solaris 10x86 06/06 hang just after grub on HP DL585 G1!

If I add the option "-v" (kernel /platform/i86pc/multiboot -v) then the system will boot up and work fine, without error on screen (Is there a way to redirect the screen output in a file?).

I tryed to disable ACPI (as I read previous post but without success),

My question will be why the option "-v" make the system boot up ? is there a better way to sort it out?

Thx

Durring the install process I have already the last HP driver, which was a issue. http://h18023.www1.hp.com/support/files/server/us/download/24869.htmlThis would not be a solution because it's already done. Thanks for your helprno

I encountered the same problems instaling Solaris 10 06/06 on an HP DL585. The solution was to use Solaris 10 11/06 and the latest hp drivers for Solarisx86 and Smart Array 5i.
