Free Solaris DVD -More than 10 days now

It has been more than 10 days now and I am still waiting for that Solaris 10 DVD kit. I still haven't received anything...beside the confirmation email.

I am wondering now if you did really receive a Free Solaris10 DVD kit and in how many days? Anybody?

Didnt you say in less than 10 days? Well if you cannot deliver it in less than 10 days then why say so. Just dont set a time frame.

I may just giveup on this Free kit .

This came up on slashdot the other day. Some people have received them. I would have to believe anything free in the mail should be assumed at 4-6 weeks. My question is whether it will be 6/06 or 11/06. I have heard rumors of 6/06 but no real info.

The last free DVD offer I got from Sun (not too long ago) was for the 6/06 version (11/06 was already out at that time).

I would not count on getting this.. I signed up (and 2 friend of mine) last year (around the same time) and we never got them, we signed up again at the beginning of this year - nothing so far... I don't think we ever going to get this... time will tell...

I recieved mine 3/15, it was ordered 12/1. For some reason they sent two. Go figure.

Hey i've heard rumors thats the kit is only delivered to asian countries, its been 2 weeks I registered & I have not recieved the kit. I stay in UK. please somebody reply if thats true than I'll have download. Thanks

Hello: Yes !!!...believe it or not. You will receive your Solaris DVD's (both, SPARC and X86/X64). Also you'll receive Developer Tools DVD. I live in Mexico City and it took around 3 or 4 weeks, but I have my DVD's now. Be patient

I ordered mine last year as well. No sign of it. I have another media kit coming with a new server I just bought. Course with the anniversary sale I probably wont get that until next year too.
