Sun XVR-100 Graphics Accelerator doesnt work with Solaris10 on Sun FireV210
Hi all,
I add Sun XVR-100 Graphics Accelerator to Sun Fire V210 system. I used console to install Solaris 10 on that machine; after the installation finished I tried to connect monitor to my Sun Fire V210 but its not working, it抯 showing a pink colored screen.
The Sun XVR-100 Graphics Accelerator manual showing that no need for any software installation for Solaris 10 it has to work automatically.
So what I need to check in this case?... Is it a resolution problem or something else?

" no need for any software installation for Solaris 10 it has to work automatically. "
Why on earth would you expect that?
This isn't a PeeCee.
Have you read the V210's documentation?
Have you attempted to reconfigure it to use that frame buffer?
Go read the manuals.

Your XVR100 framebuffer is behaving properly and is fully functional.
It's just not an output device yet.
Again, your computer isn't a PeeCee, and that's why I pointetd you
toward its documentation.Once you reconfigure the computer to use it
as an output device, and once you add a keyboard and a mouse,
you'll have an opportunity to see something understandable on the screen.
