Server Sizing

Hi All,

I am developing a web based application for my client based on java. Teh application has realtime transaction as well as batch processing also. Most of the modules for this application are open source.

I need to sizing Sun boxes for the same. Can any one send me some documents which can help me in sizing the server. This is a batch process and the Batch window is of 2 hrs. We also have a huge no of file to be processed in 2 hrs. Hence needed some approach on how to go about sizing the server.

The sizing documentation is all available online at sunsolve. No need to bother with the local Sun solution center (I've found our "local" Sun solution group to be less than satisfactory anyways).
