SUNONE Webmail removing the

I抳e been looking into this all morning and I抳e narrowed down the issue, but I haven抰 a clue how to fix it.

When receiving html format emails the webmail system strips out the 慹?character when preceded by a slash (/) hypen (-) or underscore (_)

e.g.

www.uwe.ac.uk/eNews/elearning

will come out as

www.uwe.ac.uk/News/learning

This:http://www.extension.org/e/elearnine/helloe-e_helle_/trouble_esystem/hm-ello-

Becomes: http://www.xtension.org//learnine/helloe-_helle_/trouble_system/hm-llo-

note it retains the other 'e' characters.

I have tested it with all other alpha and numeric characters, sent from/to different mail clients and it is only webmail that is having the problem. The problem is the whole of the site in question contains the characters /ez/ so all links from this would be rendered useless.

I抦 running out of ideas!

We are running SUNONE iMS 5.2sp2 on Solaris 8

Thanks in advance

Known problem, fixed by a later hotfix/patch. If you're running 5.2, please contact Support to get the latest hotfix. If running 6.2, download the latest patch, and apply it.
