problem in conversion

I am new beginner of java. I have a problem of converting string into InetAddress.Will any one provide me with all the valid convertion types &method for convertion for convertion from string to Socket ClassThankyou for replies,plz help mealok
I don't really understand what you are asking. It looks as if you have looked at class java.net.InetAddress (you got the class name right) so what are you doing that cannot be done using the static methods of java.net.InetAddress ?
