RMS and XML file

I am thinking of writing a simple application prototype to store customer information with RMS...The thing i want to do is that i want to store the customer information on a xml format or other format will be provide from an external source like PC...the MIDlet just get the XML and make modifications on its local copy....Is it possible to do this?

Anyone kind enough to guide me on this? Thanks...
