any way i found the handbook and its components. if the box is under warranty you can ring sun and ask it to be replace or tell them to send specific link to download the drivers.

if the top one is not the your model

then check this out and get the right model info

I have a Sun Blade 2500 (Silver) Workstation and had set a SunPCi IIIpro coprocessor card in the ws. Then, the external monitor shows only one resolution: 640x480 at 4-bit color. Could you help me?

Again i would like to ask you one more question

What Os are you running with version please

what kind of Desktop are you using (ex-gnome,CDE,open window)

what is the resolution you setup.

do you know how to check the resolution. if you can then could you please see it could be some setting issue.

check the packages. ( this could happen if you loose the x packages.

what application are you running.

is it happening when you start the system.

or when you running an application

the answers will help me to rectify the problem in hardware level or software level or application level

Are you able to get in GUI mode at all.

or is it on CUI mode.

would you mind to change the pci card to different slot and boot with this option

ok boot -r

give me the output.

if they were still making it they would have have updated the notes

keep trying

if it worked. i will be the first to be get surprised.
