Google web accelerator

I have found that Google web accelerator interferes with the downloading of jnlp applications using Java 1.5+. I have worked around this by changing the network settings in the Java Control Panel to Direct connection instead of the default Use Browser settings.

Does anyone know if Sun and/or Google is aware of this problem?
