by the way, i find NetBeans is better than Eclipse for creating GUI's, but Eclipse is by far easier to use in general (IMO)

I got a problem, I have just installed followed the directions on the site on installing VE in eclipse but I missed installing the actual VE. Instead I installed the SDK for VE. Now when I tried to build a class in VE, a blank window comes up.

I followed the steps from

http://www.eclipse.org/vep/WebContent/faq.html#install_howto

step 11 said to Expand the tree VE->VE->Visual Editor SDK 1.1.0.1, and hit the checkbox on it

but there was also Visual Editor under the tree and I didn't check the box.

How can I fix this ? I'd appreciate your help on this or anyone else's

Thanks in advance

yep, that's why I said NetBeans was easier, becuase there's no plug-in to install. I personally have Eclipse and NetBeans both installed for this very reason. You might try NetBeans, then export the GUI code when you're happy with it and use Eclipse from there. Clumsy solution, but time is money!!!
