Where can i find infos about the OS ID's

I want to know what the OS ID mean. Where can i find infos about the two bytes of the OS ID? Like "Operating System ID : 4051"

'Operating system identifier' (OS developer) is part of the so called 'Card Production Life Cycle' (CPLC) data. CPLC data is Visa specific. Visa International Risk Management group assigns this and other values that are part of the CPLC data.

If you are a Visa customer you can contact them for a complete list. The mentioned identifier belongs to IBM (smart card OS: Java Card Open Platform (JCOP)).

I'm not very sure about the OS ID you mentioned. but normally we can get similar information from ATR hist byte

The ATR historical bytes can be used for many purposes. Of course one could include the OS ID in the historical bytes or in the file control information on CM select. I thought you were talking about the CPLC data.
