Sun Connection Satellite Agent Requirements

I am looking forward to the Sun Connection Satellite 1.1 release, but I have some questions about the agent.

The 1.0 documentation indicates that the agent requires bidirectional communication with the DM server. I wonder if this will be necessary with the 1.1 equivalent, or if we can get to a point where all agent-server communications can be entirely agent-initiated.

I would like to see the satellite agent function across the internet behind the broad expanse of restrictive firewalls and NAT devices much like the Sun Connection Update Manager already does with the Sun-hosted version.

Do any of you "in-the-know" types out there see this feature in the 1.1 version?
