how do I get my PS2 keyboard and mouse on my Ultra-40 workstation

Hi

I recently got my Ultra-40 workstation. Now, I have a PS/2 based microsoft keyboard and mouse that I got very much used to . So, I would like to conitnue using the same keyboard & mouse with my Ultra-40 workstation instead of using the Sun's keyboard and mouse.

now, how do I do this ?

what I did is - purchased a PS2 -> USB keyboard converted for 10 bucks and tried hooking to one of the USB socket in Ultra-40. but this doesn't seems to work.

what am I doing wrong ? or is this not expected to work ?

thanks

sriram

Have you checked your BIOS settings? Also, which OS are you trying to run?

I'm afraid that I have to say that I've found that some PS/2 to USB adaptors simply just don't work with some combinations of computers and keyboards.
