Patches for U.S. Energy Policy Act of 2005

Question : Should I install the patches on all servers ?

I have 4 servers , 2 in U.S ( A:10.10.10.1 , B:10.10.10.2 ),2 in HongKong ( C:192.168.1.1 D:192.168.1.2 )

A and C are NTP servers, B is a client of A, D is a client of C.

After I install patches on A and C , What about B and D ?

Thanks

No idea what patches you are talking about, but if they have anything to do with power management (SUNWpmowu, SUNWpmr, SUNWpmu) you don't need those packages on a server anyway. I remove those packages from my servers, and vener have to worry about patching them.

Yes, every machine. The patches correct the display of time for a timezone. It has nothing to do with the synchronization of time (like NTP will provide).-- Darren
