USB Palm device with SunRay?

Has anyone been able to get one to work? From what I've found so far, it appears that it's possible with serial Palms, but maybe not with USB?

Hmmm, I'm running Solaris 10 (11/06) and it's not working for me... The PDA works fine plugged into a Mac here, but plug it into the SunRay and it seems like it doesn't see it at all. The USB port works (I can use USB harddrives from it).Suggestions on what to check?

Have you tried pointing it to the direct path of the device via the sun-ray devices. It should show up in /tmp/SUNWut/units/IEEExxxxxxx/devices (xxxx standing for the sunray's mac). you should be able to find the physical device there and you should be able to use that in the port field of the pda wizard

That's the problem, it doesn't show up in /tmp/SUNWut/units/IEEExxxxxxx/devices... :-(

Thats odd. There has to be some other connectivity issue. You said that you were using sol 10 update 3. Do you have the 120879-05 patch or are you still using the 120879-03 patch or on x86 120880-05 instead of 120880-03.

Hmmm, I'm on SPARC and I don't have 120879-anything patches! Update Manager and smpatch update don't bring it up as available!

Thats weird. Go to sunsolve and get it. That is where I got it from, so I know its there. Hopefully that will fix your issue.

Dumb question, but have you tried it on different sunray's, and tried using all of the usb ports on the sunray, and sure you have the right mac address for the sunray you have it connected to.

I've tried it on 2 SunRays (I only have 2 on the system). The main one I've been trying is a 170, and the built-in serial ports show up as devices. The other one I've tried is a 1g, and nothing shows up in devices for that one. I have tried multiple USB ports.
