Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error.

Can anyone tell me why I'm getting this message when trying to load certain onlines games?

Possibly because the Microsoft JVM and Sun JVM are running together ?

Try going to

Start --> Control Panel --> Java

In the "Advanced" tab, click on "<APPLET tag support>", and select both

"Internet Explorer" and "Mozilla and Netscape" items.

That should force Internet Explorer ( and Firefox ), to use the Sun JVM.

Several Java Virtual Machines running in the same process caused an error.

HI, To take the procee on futher than the previous answe to an early question raise. I have followed the instructions by going to the Jave <applet> position. this gave me the message

"Unable to change browser settings followed by:

Please check that Mozilla or Netscape is properly installed on the system and/or that you have sufficient permission to change system settings"

My machine has neither of the two browsers installed, Possibly a change to system settings is the answer. However, my limited knowledge does not help this situation. My machine is single user and to my awareness is without password settings .

Can anyone please guide me with the appropriate instructions.

In advance

Many thanks
