RAM Errors(Solaris 9)
Guys, I've been testing memory for awhile now, I test 1 set at a time, filling the Bank 0 on my 4500. Now, when i put in a whole set of RAM, and boot up.. If some of the memory is bad, It gives me a Time Out Error, after the POST COMPLETE msg.. Is there anyway, at this point, to go into the lower level, and boot up some kind of verification on which slot the bad RAM is in?.. There's no msg stating, bank J3031 is bad, Or so forth.. Much appreciated!

Consider setting auto-boot to false, attaching a console connection
to the TTYa port, and turn the chassis key to the DIAG position.
That will push the system through a deep diagnostic POST.
Each board, each slot, and each individual bank of RAM will be tested.
When all is finished, you will be left at the OBP prompt.
Capture that console output and review its contents.
That output will be long, maybe even too long to paste to this thread.
The way you phrased your brief question suggests you've watched this process
enough to be able to interpret what might be the results.
In case you're missing some of the system documentation,
it is linked from the E4500 System page in the SSH.
The E4500 System Reference Manual ( 805-2632-11 )
is a good beginning and it's only a 4MB PDF download.
See Chapter 9 for a troubleshooting overview.
