Unexplained shutdowns on v20z and v40z servers
I was hoping someone could shed some light on some unexplained shutdowns we are experiencing on both a v20 and v40 server. The shutdowns appear to be completely random, servers are stored in a dedicated data center so heat shouldn't be an issue.
We've identified pociwin32server.exe as a potential cause however can't find to seem any information about the service other than it is produced by Newisys.
the v20 is part of a cluster (the other node in the cluster is ok), the v40 is standalone. Both machines are running Windows 2003 RC2 SP1.
Help!

I have the same problem with a v20z, but it's running Solaris. Unexplained shutdowns, but I haven't been able to narrow it down much since nothing makes it in the error or SP logs. The machine will be working fine, then suddenly "stop". Still has power, SP display says "Rebooting", but nothing happens. It always seems to happen between 1am-3am too. It's not in a world-class datacenter or anything, but the environment is reasonably stable (The Windows servers in the same room never crash).
Hoping somebody else stumbles across something of note on the v20z platform that might be causing this. My case with Sun hasn't really done any good so far since I don't get any errors!

We've never had an issue on the v40z's, but on the v20z's, we've had to leave space between each (we have about 40 in a cluster) or they would overheat and power off without any warning.
So we racked them up to leave about 1/3 of a "U" in our racks between each, and haven't had a single one stop since in over a year of continuous use.
Note that the top cover of the v20z has perforations for airflow that are blocked if they are racked against each other.

Although I haven't been receiving these problems on V20 or V40 servers, I have been experiencing a similar issue with random reboots on an x4200 series running Windows. There is no blue screen error generated or any application event leading to this, just random reboots. Thank you all for the previous posts since it might give me something more to look into.
