Solaris 10 x86

Hi there,Just need a few information here...Can Solaris 10 x86 support the following:1) SATA2) SASbecause all the server now c/w above new standards, instead of the long supported SCSI or IDE Thanks for any feedback...

Some of the servers that Sun makes utilize SATA and SAS, so yes, it's supported with at least some chipsets.

Not too sure about SAS, but so far all the AMD Opterons X2200s I've been working with are all with SATA HDDs and I've installed all Solaris 10 1/06, 6/06 and 11/06 on the machines.Hope that clears 50% of your doubt.--regards,Michael
