Sunfire T2000

In our lab we have 2 t2000 servers and we are unable to push the processor past 21% giving us about 20,000 queries per second on our database with sun x4200 machines we can get upwards of 70,000 queries per second on both mysql and oracle. Is there something that I am missing in terms of setting up the t2000? Both machines are running Solaris 10 I believe 11/06

How many threads are you able to get running? On lightly threaded setups I'd expect a x4200 to be faster, but when you start going with more and more parallel threads the T2000 should be the way to go.OR, could the T2000 be I/O bound? Differences in disk setup?

We have not been able to use more than the one thread. It seems like it is locking up. The disks are high performance disks and all the data is being stored in memory so the disk speed does not come into play.
