is java 1.5 compatible for weblogic 8.1 ?

Hi,

I am using Weblogic 8.1 with java 1.5 but while starting the server i am getting the following error

The WebLogic Server did not start up properly.

java.io.InvalidClassException: javax.management.MBeanAttributeInfo; local class

incompatible: stream classdesc serialVersionUID = 7043855487133450673, local cla

ss serialVersionUID = 8644704819898565848

is Java 1.5 compatible for Weblogic 8.1. please advice me for this problem... Thanks in advance...

I have Used JDK 1.5 only but i doesn't affect the starting process of the weblogic 8.1 server in my application is deployed and Give JNDI name also. the Java file compile successfully but while run the Java file It shows NoClass Def FoundError .

i m asking abt this error in my friends they told me only weblogic 9.0 support JDK1.5.but some other told me not like tht i had worked weblogic 8.1 with JDK !.5 if u mentiioned abt ur application r EJB do u worked with workshop r else?
