java runtime environment

i currently have jre1.5.0_02, jre1.5.0_03, and jre1.5.0_06 installed on my computer can i remove the 2 older ones or do they have to be on there?

I have similar question regarding my xp pro desktop and laptop...every now and then i am alerted there is an update available for the J@SE Runtime Environment 5.0 Well, each update is over 100MB and I prefer to get that space back.

Are the updates cumulative or separate? In other words, can I delete update 2, 3, 6, 9 etc...if I have the latest update of 10?

Each update installs in a separate folder. If you wish to reclaim the disk space, you could uninstall the previous versions (Add/Remove Programs in Control Panel)
