Why do you depend on some predefined ideas.Think of an idea yourself and try to implement it.It will just motivate your creativity by substantial amounts.Being in third year you would be in a good position to decide the field you would want to enter(normally everyone by this time would have fallen for a field).Incase you have a particular field which you are fond of try working in that direction and think what new can you come out. That way you area also exposed to new ideas
Anyways there are a lot of websites which offer online project.I won't google it for you.Do it yourself.
I know that predefined ideas are not good.but the problem is in certification..I do an individual project and then nobody certifies it...then it is up to no use..and being new in this field...I think online projects would help greatly in collaboration..and again being part of some good projects would definitely improve anyone's scope..specially when one is in a nascent stage..dont u think so?nyways thanks for yur help..and I have been google *** for the past few hours..and thought what better place can thre be than the home of java itself..so here I am..
and I am interested in netwrk programming field of java..If that may help in answering my questions..thank u.

Are you doing this project as your 8th sem project.I mean i know you are in third year but a lot of people finish it off when they are in third year itself?Which university are you from?

Depends on your partners. You might end up teaching your partners than learning things from them!
