Mailroutingsmarthost issue while seinding email

Hi, I have a domain which has the MailRoutingHost attribute set. The value of this attribute is a symactec server which is in charge of the spam filter.

The situation is, when an email is sent to an user the next address is created @mydomain.com:user@otherdomain.com, right, as I understand this is correct.

But for any reason the symantec server issue this message:

The message cannot be delivered to the following address.

@smtpsysec.mydomain.com:user@otherdomain.comMailbox unknown or not accepting mail.

553 Invalid recipient (Cannot validate domain): @smtpsysec.mydomain.com:user@otherdomain.com

How I can fix this? Theres a way a can turn @smtpsysec.mydomain.com:user@otherdomain.com to user@otherdomain.com

thanks

Hm. And, why did you do this? "MailRoutingHost" is for sending mail that is outbound to this host. Unlikely that's really what you're trying to do.

The mechanism most often used for looping messages through a virus scanner is the "aliasdetourhost": keyword in your imta.cnf.

I think you may have attempted to handle this all in the backwards directrion

Let's please start over, with what your intended mail flow is, and we can then help you choose the correct method for getting there.
