is there any api for usb interfacing using java

Using the javax.comm api i have already establish a connection witha serial port device,,,i want to get information if there is any api by which i can accesss data for a usb port using java in the windows enviroment..ITS URGENT

ITS URGENT, stop what you're doing everyone and help this guy.

don't belittle him because he thinks his question is more urgent than every other person who thinks there question is urgent. To be fair its blatantly more urgent than the noob who flagged his HelloWorld post as urgent.

It's so urgent he hasn't even had time to google or do any other search of any kind. This man is clearly in need of our help so lets pull together lads.

As for me I'm off down the pub but I'll be sure to get right on it in a few hours when I'm thinking more, erm, clearly? (or should that be enlightened?)

its not that i didnot get time..there is no proper workig api for usb accesss in java.jusb is there but it is not up to the mark.moreover icastle has a api of its own but its not worth the money.i have tried using jungo windriver evaluation version but it too didnot have satisfactory
