how hidden "open recent" and "preferences" from menu applet

anybody know how hidden "Open Recent" and "Preferences" from menu applet? OS: Solaris 10/06

Unfortunately, it is not currently possible to hide these menu items (without making changes to the code). Only the Applications menu can be edited.caluma at 2007-7-8 1:41:46 >
