SJSAS 9 / DataDirect drivers / license

The docs on setting up a JDBC connection pool for Oracle recommend using the DataDirect drivers and reference the files smbase.jar, smoracle.jar, and smutil.jar. The docs seem to imply that I should have these as part of SJSAS 9. These files were not part of my download, but a search of my system shows that I do have them as part of Creator 2.1 (also a free download).

Are the drivers supposed to be included as part of SJSAS 9?

Can I legally use these drivers on production?

Which edition of appserver do you use ?Creator will also have these drivers. But in production it may not work, if you use SJSAS Platform Edition.DataDirect drivers are part of SJSAS Enterprise Edition only. Thanks,-Jagadish

I am using PE. It is the only version of SJSAS 9 that exists so far. The drivers from Creator do work, but it is not a question of technical possibility. It is a question of legality/license.

If you have them with creator, then you are welcome to use them with your SJAS 9 PE edition.
