Directory 5.2 SP4 Solaris 5.8 - Install Directory Hangs

Has anyone seen a Directory Server install hang during initial installation. Tar install via setup hangs while gathering system

information. JES Install hangs during directoryserver code execution.

Log files have nothing - System log or install log

Is this a Registration issue ?

Sun Support has not been helpfull on this issue.

Without further details I don't think this forum will be more helpful than Sun support organization.Personally this is the first time I here of a hang during the installation phase.

Solaris 8 Env

Sun Directory 5.2 SP 4

Last failure: JES Install method

directoryserver -u 5.2 configure completes Q&A steps

Hangs on "Installing Directory Server"

The un-install class file is written into the Base Directory

No other content is written

cntrl-C after one hour of not progress

prstat during whole period had no activity by the install code

Install log stops at writting Un-Install message

Nothing in system messages
